People often call this kind of event using many names such as gathering, annual gathering, reunion, but we at Indonesia Hoosiers chose "Hoosiers Reunited" for one particular reason. We are united by one common thing: being a Hoosier, being Indiana University alums.
The event was held on Nov 3, 2018 at Goodrich Suites, Jakarta and was attended by more than 100 Indonesia Hoosiers not only from Jakarta, but also from other cities. It's also amazing to see that Hoosiers all the way from the Class of 1958 to 2018 gathered and celebrated being a Hoosier at one point of their lives, and yes, that is 60 years!!
This event also serves as a prelude to Indiana University’s Bicentennial Reunion, which celebrates IU’s past, present, and future. This one-in-a-lifetime event will be held on Jun 1-6, 2020 and will be co-hosted by IUPUI and IU Bloomington. It was a great evening of music, games, good food and lots of laughters. We all had fun meeting our college friends as well as getting to know other fellow alums.
We thank you for making this fun-filled event a huge success, without you fellow Hoosiers we wouldn't be able to make this happen. We also sincerely thank the donors who had made this possible and we honor your wish of not stating your names, that adds to the success of the event. We'll see you at the next Indonesia Hoosiers event!
